CCTV camera captures a strange winged creature, real ‘angel’ sighting?

The small community of East Jordan in Michigan has been cast into excitement this week after a motion-sensor camera captured images which many people in the area believe to be an angel. In the pictures, a mysterious winged creature can be seen looming over a car in a darkened parking area close to the local church.

However, not everyone is convinced that everything is as it may first appear.

Glen Thorman, a fire chief in the community, was the owner of the motion sensor camera which took the astonishing pictures. He said that when he saw the pictures he was certain that he had managed to capture footage of an angel and immediately called his wife and his pastor to tell them what had happened.

“It was really clear to me the minute I looked at the photo, ” said Pastor Deneille Moes of Jordan Rivers Church. “I just kind of freaked out a bit. I went like, ‘Whoa! That’s an angel!’ And I texted him back, ‘That’s an angel.’ There wasn’t any doubt in my mind that we were looking at something supernatural.”

The pastor then went on to post pictures of the incident on the Facebook page of the Jordan Rivers Church, assuring followers of the page that the photographs had not been digitally altered.

While many people agreed with the assessment that this is truly a picture of an angel, others have been more skeptical.

Some have suggested that the photograph depicts nothing more than an unusual lens flare but the most popular explanation is that the mysterious winged creature is a moth pressed against the lens of the camera, giving the appearance that it was much larger than it is and that it was looming over the car.

As for the local community of East Jordan, most people are thoroughly convinced that this is a sign from heaven. What the angel could be trying to tell them is still a matter of much debate.
